WALLS TURNED SIDEWAYS
BRANDING
CREATIVE DIRECTION
DIGITAL DESIGN
As an initiative of the Prison+Neighborhood Arts/Education Project (PNAP), Walls Turned Sideways is a non-profit creative space dedicated to artists and communities impacted by incarceration in Chicago.
Developed and researched by Pablo Mendoza, a formerly incarcerated advocate and artist, and Sarah Ross, an educator and artist, Walls Turned Sideways came from the need to build a space committed to connecting families of incarcerated people through art.
Amongst my peers at Columbia College my branding proposal for Walls Turned Sideways was chosen as the winning identity.
